Join us in preserving our historic communal space, while celebrating our local makers, bakers, and growers! Our May market will be replete with extraordinary talent, feasts for your eyes, mouths, and bodies, plus more surprises! Dan and Athelia will, once again, bring their fresh, never refrigerated, local eggs from loved hens! We are so fortunate that they have chosen us! Each carton has a pic and bio of their chicken family! Each egg is hand dated for the date it was laid, and, in keeping with our no/low waste goals, you can return your carton for a 50 cent discount! This is what we have to look forward to on the 21st; Yohana, the creator of the legendary Underground Food Market, will be with us. She brings Sambusas, and hand blended Ethiopian spices! Corey Jones, author, artist, black out poetry creator, and mental health advocate, will be with us! Ivy will be with us, sharing her flawlessly handcrafted, sustainable, and vegan accessories, and homegoods! Her Afro-boho creations are centered around ancestral traditional methods and fabrics! Our neighbor, Sirajah, will bring her vintage; designer, and midsized statement pieces! Our young artist/designer Ellie brings jewelry and homegoods she kiln fuses from glass, and hand pours from resin! Surprise artisans are the best! Suzy will be joining us again with her all natural, organic, silk, hemp, upcycled, naturally dyed wearables! The materials and methods she uses to achieve her colors are mind blowing! I will post her video describing this . She has a beautiful story on how her company began. Ask her about it! Additionally, she will bring organic compost tea and native plants!
