From dogs to dreams and Fairylight Friends to Finley Flowers, the remarkable Jessica Young has books perfect for every kid! Come meet the award-winning Jessica Young at your Soddy-Daisy Community Library. She'll be talking about her books, how she comes up with so many wonderful stories, and reading some of her work! Plus, she has provided activities to do while she's with us! Although she will be with us virtually, we will be hosting the visit at the library. Get your tickets fast, this is sure to be a full house! Ms. Young's visit is a part of our WILD Summer of Authors program, funded in part by a grant from Humanities Tennessee, an independent affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. You must be a patron of the SDCL in good standing (no late fees or overdue books) to participate in this event. Jessica Young grew up in Ontario, Canada. The same things make her happy now as when she was a kid: dancing, painting, music, digging in the dirt, picnics, reading, and writing. When she was little, she wanted to be a tap-dancing flight attendant/ veterinarian, but she’s changed her mind!
