Networking for a 25x25 ft piece of land to complete 'A Living Simply Solar Voyager for a Community Sustainability Project Food security is next to be destabilized by climate change The Monterey Bay Area is one of the places where global heating has been and will continue to be the fastest in the lower 48 states. I've been searching for a 25x25 ft scrap of land for 2 1/2 years to complete the mobile component of the project, an EV with the ability to have a modest daily range in real time from its own solar panels.. I've discovered California landowners turn a deaf ear when told that science has shown the only way we can have a chance of adverting accelerating climate disasters is by urgently and significantly changing our lifestyle. Might you know of any landowner who might have interest in this project? Below is brief description of a Community sustainability project I'm pursuing. (It's a one minute read). A community sustainability project Networking to find a space to complete a Living Simply Solar Voyager Reaching out for a landowner or farmer with an appreciation of a practical demonstration of climate change adaptation & mitigation and a revived sense of the commons for the use of a 25x25 ft piece land to facilitate completing a sustainability project's real time-solar-motive-powered vehicle, an EV which charges its batteries from its own solar panels, which is also a large carbon free mobile power supply & compact living space as quickly as possible, 2 1/2 years, while living in the project vehicle, to have a minimal carbon footprint, paying rent and open to continuously improving landowner's property while mindful of what the Earth asks of us or helping with any enterprise connected to the land. I have a BS in physics from an institute of technology, graduate studies in comparative literature & film production, worked in electronics & auto/truck mechanics for years, I am NABCEP certified to design, install & maintain home solar & have worked on small & large acreage farms. With this vehicle I will find & help build a family of self sustainable communities away from densely populated areas as the latest computer climate models whose worst case scenarios have been accurate for 40 years are now showing collapse of the global food system starting in the 2030s from prolonged drought and weeks of 120F heatwaves in the world's breadbaskets. Landlord references to my continuously improving their property for years while paying rent are available. I'd like to find a space in SC Co, or adjacent counties which might also offer space to experiment with climate change adapted crops. , In 2016, SB1069 mandated authorities not to hassle property owners having auxiliary dwelling units (ADUs). Further information on this community sustainability project with links to science journal papers & articles based on journal papers to corroborate the urgent need for climate adaptation and mitigation are available.
