Hi! I have a really cute akita puppy looking for her forever home. She is an absolute sweetheart – she is a bit shy with strangers, but once she gets to know you she’s the most playful and kind puppy. You are welcome to come and meet her. A bit about her: she is 12 weeks old (she was born around February 18th), she’s had her first two rounds of puppy shots (started with the 5way and then 9way) and she’ll be due for her next one in 2 weeks. She’s been dewormed twice with a broad spectrum dewormer for dogs, and she’s been treated for fleas and ticks (revolution, monthly). She is currently eating large breed puppy food (4Health) and she free feeds from a food dispenser. Whatever food you switch her to please make sure to verify that it’s intended for large breed puppies over 70lbs so that she gets her adequate nutritional needs met. Also, please, my vet (and there’s extensive research to prove this online) has asked to never feed them grain-free diets since there’s been an irrefutable link found between grain-free dog food diets and heart disease. She has been exposed to babies, lots of people, and chickens, rabbits, and cats. She is still learning to walk on a leash but she loves car rides. Hopefully you plan to get her spayed in the future and microchipped! My neighbors have adopted her sister, so if you ever wish to bring her over for playdates, you are more than welcome to. I can also offer my petsitting services for free for her – I really love her and want to see her thrive. So if you ever need someone to watch her, rest assured I can do so. Rehoming fee applies.
