FREE STOP THE BLEED emergency blood loss control training clinics conducted all day Thursday, May 19th, 2022. One-hour training clinics begin at 9:00 AM and repeat throughout the day. Pre-registration and completion of the Stop The Bleed Interactive Learning course is required. Phase 2, the hands-on skills training clinics, will be conducted throughout the day, Thursday, May 19th, National STOP THE BLEED Day. Phase 2 is required for certification when taking the Stop The Bleed Interactive Learning course. The Phase 2, hands-on skills training clinics, are FREE 1/2 hour, skills training and assessment sessions. An official. nationally recognized Stop The Bleed certificate of training will be issued upon successful completion. Simply complete the Stop The Bleed Interactive Learning portion of the course online and then register for the Phase 2 hands-on training session time slot taking place Thursday, May 19th. This is a nationally recognized program, developed by the American College of Surgeons, Committee on Trauma and provided by BleedingControl.org This class teaches the techniques for the control of traumatic blood loss due to work place or home accident, traffic accident, shooting or any other incident that results in injury with blood loss. This course of training is appropriate for those 12 years of age and older. Upon your completion of the on-line, interactive learning session, you will receive an email with your final quiz results. You must bring and present that document at the time of your Phase 2, hands-on training in order to receive a certificate of completion. There is no cost for this training class.
