Press release from the Spokane County Government: May 12, 2022 SPOKANE COUNTY, May 12, 2022 – The Spokane County Board of Commissioners took a significant step forward this week in the long effort to replace the Euclid Road Bridge in west Spokane County. During the consent agenda meeting this week, Commissioners unanimously voted for and signed Construction and Maintenance Agreements with the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway, which allows the Public Works Department to replace the Bridge. Spokane County Public Works Director Chad Coles commended Commissioner Al French for his instrumental role in bringing the necessary parties together to get the agreements to the table and for his persistence and determination in advocating for the community which are the users of the bridge route.
