Here are the top three stories in Roanoke today: The Roanoke Regional Partnership is supporting businesses through a $4 million plan. The economic development initiative is a five-year plan called Thrive 2027. The partnership hopes that the plan will support businesses impacted by inflation as well as rising wage rates, materials, and energy costs. (WSET)The Roanoke Valley Holistic EXPO will be held at the Salem Civic Center this Saturday. The event will have massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, and reflexology services on-site for participants to try. Admission is free and the event will be from 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. (WDBJ) Angles of Assisi will be holding an adoption event to alleviate shelter capacity concerns. The event will be this Saturday from 12:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m. at RCACP in Roanoke. The shelter hopes to find as many dogs new homes as possible during the adoption event.
