May 2022 SHMBA Membership Meeting in Huntsville, Alabama May 17, 2022 3-4pm at DoubleTree Suites on South Parkway Guest Speaker is Chris Key, Huntsville Utilities Chris Key is the Business Services Manager at Huntsville Utilities where he manages an active team of Key Account representatives and an ever-growing Commercial and Industrial department. Prior to becoming a Manager, Chris began his career at Huntsville Utilities in 2007 as an entry level clerk, then moved on to a position in the Electrical Engineering Services department. Chris has spent the last 10 years of his career focusing on Huntsville’s top Commercial and Industrial customers. First serving as a representative, then a supervisor, and is currently serving as a manager. Chris Key has offered his technical expertise on many undertakings such as large-scale renewable energy projects, AMI (advanced metering information), as well as other energy management projects. His involvement with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) ensures that Huntsville Utilities is kept informed of the latest economic advances to be proactive with upcoming events. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management as well as being certified as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Project Manager Professional (PMP). When Chris is not tending to utility related responsibilities, you can find him on the green, either tending to his own yard or on a breezy golf course. Chris’ tireless dedication to Huntsville Utilities and his knowledge of the industry make him an indispensable attribute to the community as it continues to grow and prosper.
