BOSTON — A 14-year-old student at a Boston Public School is accused of throwing boiling hot water from ramen noodles on the face of one of his teachers last week. On May 5, a teacher at McKinley Middle School in Allston took herself to the hospital after the school's principal wouldn't call 911 for her, according to a Boston police report. The unidentified teacher told her student not to use a textbook to assist in microwaving ramen noodles because the student wanted to put the book in the microwave, the report says. After a disagreement, police say the student stood up from his seat and poured his cup of boiling hot ramen noodles on her. The teacher claimed she had swelling and minor burns on her left cheek and redness inside her ear when she arrived at the hospital and told doctors and police she was in "excruciating pain," in the report. Patch reached out to McKinley Middle School for comment and has not immediately heard back. The student has been charged as a juvenile with aggravated assault.
