MERIDEN — City police are seeking the public's help Saturday as they continue to investigate an early morning shooting at a local bar that sent one man to the hospital. According to the Meriden Police Department, at 1:06 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the area of the Tequila Galore bar located at 575 North Colony Road for a report of shots fired with a possible gunshot victim. Police said, upon arrival, officers saw a large amount of blood in front of the establishment and recovered at least one spent shell casing. "There were no obvious victims present," reads a Meriden PD report on the incident. Moments later, police received a call of a male gunshot victim that had been dropped off at Midstate Medical Center's Emergency Department.
