Needs Adopter ASAP - to be euthanized at County!

Hi, I'm Ludacris (sociability with dogs unknown…would need to keep separate initially, with a SLOW introduction to dog in home). I am set to be euthanized May 17th 8 am. Why am I E-listed? Like so many others, I’m REALLY STRESSED due to long periods of confinement and few opportunities for out-of-kennel time. It is no wonder that I am highly over excited and jumping, barking and lunging at the kennel door!! It is inhumane to keep me here in this condition!! Will you help save my life? I am only 3 years old I am not ready to die! YOU GOTTA COME N MEET ME! I am adorable in person!. I’m a neutered, tan and white American Pitbull Terrier (58 lbs.). I came in as a stray. I have a "weird" story. I was brought to shelter by someone who said I bit him out of the blue?? When the shelter called to gather more information, the person hung up! hmmmm....Why would someone do that? I want you to know that I haven’t attempted to bite anyone here at the shelter. They LOVE ME here! I am fun in the play yard. relaxed around people and love to be petted! I like leaning into staff to be close. I chase after balls and “sit” for treats, although I’m still a little on the grabby side. Sadly, I struggle with shelter life and the vets here put me on medication to calm me down but its not working very well and I'm still struggling. I need to get out and into a home before I “lose my mind”! The shelter recommends that I have an adopter who understands stressed dogs like me, that I meet the entire family, and that children in the home be older. I will need time to de-stress and would benefit structure and a predictable routine. Going on walks and having play time will help me unwind. I can't imagine this is how it could end for me...I don’t want to die! Please come meet me!!!
