SKOKIE, IL — A 9-year-old boy was fatally shot, and a 6-year-old suffered a graze wound in a Skokie apartment early Saturday morning, police said. Offices responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired just after midnight at an apartment building in the 4700 block of Main Street. Inside the building, police found a 9-year-old who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and a 6-yearold with a graze wound. Officers began life-saving measures on the 9-year-old until Skokie firefighters arrived. Both children were taken to a local hospital, where the 9-year-old died, police said.
