Press release from the Village of Lisle: The annual DuPage River Sweep is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Hosted by The Conservation Foundation, the DuPage River Sweep is a county-wide stream cleanup and restoration event in which volunteers pick up debris in and along waterways, and restore adjacent land back to its natural state. Individual volunteers may request being assigned to a group while following social distancing guidelines or may work independently in an area of their choosing.
