Genre is 80s, 90s and 2000's rock (Tragically Hip, Collective Soul, Cult, Petty, REM...) We're older, responsible adults and with a practice space and just need the last piece to round things out. Hello Bham, I am in a local rock band called Vendovi and we are seeking to audition a lead guitar soloist to round out our sound! It's hard to put a pin on the type of music we play but I would say it is Rock n Roll, Grunge, Blues, Southern Rock, Alternative etc. Some songs sound like the Black Keys and some like Rage Against the Machine. We really don't stick to one style, whatever comes out of our hearts is what we play! The right person for this band would be willing to make a professional level commitment to music in six months to a year. We intend on playing music as often as possible, touring, recording records, and making music our livelihood. This is easier said than done, so it's going to take real practice and very hard work to get there, but we believe it is possible! Our current lineup consists of Drums, Bass, Guitar/Violin, Backing vocals and Lead Vocals. We are open and accepting to people of all nationalities, gender identities, preferences etc, and anyone who cannot align with that is not welcome to audition. I sing, play guitar, keyboards, drums and bass guitar as well as a little bit of blues harp as well as write and record originals. My goal is to have high-quality vocals with great harmonies and perform as well as record great songs from the 70s to present day Including rock and roll, soul and other genres as well as write and record originals. I played full-time in the 80s and 90s as lead vocalist playing keyboards and guitar and was most recently in a local band as lead backup vocalist playing keyboards and guitar and for Danger Reef. I have a PA system, mixing board, drum sets, keyboards, guitars, amplifiers, and a practice studio located near Iowa Street in Bellingham.
