DACULA, GA — Gwinnett County police are searching for a Chicago rapper who they said attacked a man last week in a Dacula park. Rapper Calboy, whose real name is Calvin Lashon Woods, attacked the victim May 4 at Rabbit Hill Park, 400 Rabbit Hill Road, police said. The man was left with a broken leg, cuts and bruises on his face and torso, and other injuries, police said. Woods, who now lives in Marietta, was last seen in Dacula, but police don't know where he is now. The 23-year-old rapper is known for his 2018 viral song "Envy Me." Calboy is signed to Polo Grounds Music and RCA Records. Since his career has launched, he has toured with rappers Kodak Black and 21 Savage. His most recent album featured Lil Wayne. On Friday morning the rapper tweeted the accusations are false. "Plz don't believe none of these accusations on me, they are all false," he wrote. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call GCPD investigators at 770-513-5300 or Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
