Here are the top three stories in Dacula today: The City Of Dacula has notified residents that it has scheduled a water outage on Mobley Drive. (Press Release Desk ) Former Gwinnett County resident and former gubernatorial candidate John Oxendine has agreed to pay the state $128,000 to settle with the State Ethics Commission. The ex-insurance commissioner has not officially admitted to misusing campaign funds to live a luxurious lifestyle. However, Oxendine has been accused of using the funds to make a down payment on his home, cover car payments, cover private club membership fees, and pay for private school tuition for his child. (Now Habersham) Gwinnett County will hold its annual Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) celebration on Tuesday, May 17, at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center Plaza on Langley Drive. The celebration is meant to honor APPI's rich heritage and legacy. Participants will enjoy a K-Pop performance, a Lion Dance, a hula dance, and more.
