Need a professional mechanic who'd like to make a little extra by moonlighting/working part time. You will be an independent subcontractor and will need to supply your own tools (although I can supply many specialized tools when required).
I value quality work and I can't get to these projects, so I can haul them to your shop one at a time, or clear out a bay for you in my shop.
I have the following projects on deck:
1. install new 6.5L Diesel in K3500 pickup
2. rebuild or swap 7.3 Power-stroke in F-350
3. Cylinder head gasket on Volvo turbo 5cyl.
4. tons of maintenance/repair tasks on cars, light trucks, RV's and compact equipment (forklift, mini-backhoe)
If that goes well, you can take on any or all of the following:
5. rebuild 1.8L diesel industrial motor.
6. swap or rebuild VW TDI motor
7. convert Chevy P-30 chassis RV from 454 gas to 6.5L Diesel (same mounts, minor fab)
8. repairs on various gensets both diesel and gas.
9. minor fabrication projects and upgrades for RV's, light trucks, and trailers.
10. help build a 24 Hours of Lemons racer.
The variety of projects is so broad that it takes both experience and creativity. You choose your own hours, work style, and don't have to get bored doing the same thing over and over.
