If you enjoy working on sports fields, being outdoors and can provide outstanding customer service to our park visitors; don’t miss the opportunity to apply! This is a full-time position working forty (40) hours per week. Beginning in March until the end of October the position will work a (4) ten hours a day schedule, then working (5) eight-hour days Monday thru Friday November thru March. You must be able to work a flexible work schedule which includes weekends. The responsibilities of this position include maintenance of sports fields in the District’s parks and the community’s elementary school sports fields. Duties include: • Laying out and painting various sized sports fields on a weekly basis • General maintenance and preparation of baseball/softball fields for scheduled practices/games • Transportation, set up and removal of sports equipment such as goals and backstops • Inspection and documentation of condition of sports fields assigned • Winter time snow removal on either the snow plow or shovel crew You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to apply. A high school diploma or GED equivalent, valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record are required. Excellent customer service skills are necessary for this position. Pre-employment screening, which includes background check, drug screen and motor vehicle record check will be performed for all candidates who are offered employment.
