R&J Honey Bees LLC is a 4th generation beekeeping operation in Lompoc Ca looking to add to our team. R&J Honey Bees LLC is hiring motivated, hardworking individuals in the beekeeping industry: Experience helpful but not necessary. Will train on the job! Must not be allergic to bee stings. Valid Driver's License required. This is a full time job with 40 hour work weeks minimum. Serious applicants only Full time job available working with honeybees. We will train you how to work with honey bees and operate forklifts. Position is to assist in the tasks needed for commercial beekeepers. While we wear protective gear, stings are part of the deal. Requires lifting, bending, kneeling, tolerance for heat (It gets hot working in the bee suit) Lifting and carrying the full honey supers (bee box full of honey) can be 60 - 80 pounds.
