Hey, We’re looking for lead vocalist, if you play other instruments that plus. Who’s into Sound Garden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, GNR, 90’s alt in general along with a bunch of other influences. Along with some modern alt /rock to old school elements: Zeppelin, Hendrix, Doors, Black Keys, Slash, Wolfmother, Narrow Head, Pantera, Deftones, Slow Crush. We’ve got a dozen songs at various stages. This is still a new band so room for you to put some of your flavor on it and add new songs. A few of the songs have guitar parts or melodies already. In some cases we’d except you to play what’s written unless of course you can write something better. We’re all strong songwriters looking for people who want to write the best songs possible without negative ego. We’re looking for a badass who ready deliver passionate and compelling melodies. Ideally looking for a vocalist who can belt with distortion in a higher register than me. Btw I’m also a singer however I'm open to taking a more backing singer role vocally ala Jerry in Alice In Chains or Groul in Nirvana. Vocally I can sing ok but it’s more in the classic alt vibe. I don’t have the grit and power of most grunge singers yet. I’m probably closer to Mark Lanagan (screaming trees) or Eddie Vedder than anyone else I’d that era. Definitely looking for people who are a good hang. Everyone gets along and we have fun at practice. So we’re looking for good chemistry and open to trying new ideas. We’re 25-40: gtr/vox, bass, & drums. We have solid gear including a PA. Transportation. We all recently moved to Austin. We practice at monthly lockout, Sonance Rehearsal studios in central Austin.
