We purchased a home, on a large lot, that had been vacant in an estate for many years. It has extensive landscaping, including a small pond and water features much of which is currently overgrown and in need of some expert love. We are looking for someone able to spend about 4-5 hours a week on site, helping us to bring it back under control and to it's former glory. Schedule is completely flexible, and can be completed at your convenience. We have some tools that we will provide access to, but we are very much not green thumbs so we may not have everything. If you personally have tools you could access as well, that would be wonderful. Any supplies needed (mulch, flowers, etc) we will purchase. Additionally, a large number of trees were removed from the backyard but no efforts were made to establish a healthy lawn so some lawn care is needed as well. Very much looking for more than a laborer but someone passionate about landscape design. We would love to refresh the property in a low maintenance way that supports local wildlife and pollinators. Looking for someone to partner with us in this effort as we don't know where to start. Experience with ponds a huge plus! We expect this project to be a multi-year effort based on the scope. We are not in a hurry to get it completed, but we are in a hurry to get started. Please email with your interest and tell us a bit about you and why this role would be a good fit.
