Minnesota Pipestone pipes are available. I am a traditional pipe maker and I have worked with Pipestone for over 30 years. I will also be selling them in limited supply down town or at the drum circle area on Saturdays, beginning in June. Pipestone Pipes are 'the Gems' of the Pipe world. Just ask any first generation hippie (that thinks they're worth their salt) about Pipestone. Native Americans have been smoking not just tobacco, but medicines (of all kinds) out of Pipestone for thousands of years. Remember seeing that red T shaped rock with the stem in it, the old Indian man was holding up to great spirit in the western movie you saw? That's Pipestone, This is that type of rock. You cannot get these in a pipe shop because the store owners get racially harassed by Native Americans that think they know what they are talking about. My business slogan is "Fu@k the Glass, get some Class" I have red pipestone, and I have black Pipestone. I would rather deal with personal orders or custom requests. rather than hanging out in public. I am also working with Viking Rune Inlays. I can take custome orders for personal requests including color inlays in runes, symbols, spirals, X's, even Zodiac! That's why the Natives call it "the blood of our ancestors". So when they sell it to the Chinese, they are selling the blood of their ancestors to the Chinese! So they have no room to criticize ANYONE lest they are HYPOCRITES!!!! **************************** To those with an issue about Pipestone: I am Native American. So Native Americans who have an issue with it. That's too bad. I gave tobacco to the stone. So its between me and the stone not me and you. You have zero say or valid opinion in this matter! Its none of your business. And for you to make it your business is bad medicine for you. Nothing good will come of it. I trained under 2 different medicine people. One was Lakota. I know what I am doing, what is acceptable, and what isn't. You should know what you are talking about before you attack people in self righteous racism. Unless its blessed it isn't sacred! And that came to me from a very revered Lakota medicine person directly. Anyone can work with Pipestone. and anyone can sell it.So Step off!....And if you do, who are you to criticize anyone for selling "the blood of our ancestors" anyways. When you people are selling red pipestone to the CHINESE! Its solidified Clay. It comes from 4 different areas in the USA. The red Minnesota Pipestone is similar to the red stone the Chinese love to carve their art from. ... seems like everyone is selling out to the Chinese these days! ......I am sure this will be flagged quick...
