Description
i firmly believe that any poet who wants to work on their craft deserves access to rigorous spaces that celebrate their contributions, however they may show up. if you want to write, read, and think about poetry, you are welcome in the space.
i'm hosting two coupled workshops this and next sunday over Zoom.
the 1-and-2 theme for this month is: TO BE BOTH//TO BE ANYTHING ELSE

workshop description: in these double, context-translated workshops, we'll explore what it means to locate yourself in the world.
we'll read work from Rita Dove, Dawn Lundy Martin, CA Conrad, Khalil Gibran, Adult Swim, and more~
on the 15th, we'll read, write, and feel our way through questions of intersectionality and between-ness.
on the 22nd, we'll look at the self's negative space: what are you NOT? and what does that mean?
GENERAL WORKSHOP INFO: join me on Zoom this and next Sunday for a generative poetry workshop meant to expand and deepen your relationship to poetry.
