We are expanding into Atlanta and need movers, drivers and crew leaders. No CDL needed. Weekly schedule. Professional work environment. Signing bonus for experienced crew members! Opportunities for both local and long distance moves. Growth potential! Protects, wraps, and loads household goods furniture into a truck for transport and unloading. Operates vehicles and mechanical equipment as required to facilitate loading, unloading, and transport of materials, as appropriate to the area of operation. Routinely interacts with all customers and the community. Duties and Responsibilities - Loads and unloads furniture and related materials onto and off trucks, ensuring that appropriate padding and straps are used to prevent damage. - Load household goods and crates into storage containers. - Locates and relocates desks, chairs, tables, bookcases, and other related office equipment and furniture. - Packing household goods to include breakables and non-breakables. - Disassemble and assemble household furniture. - Inventory all items loaded for transport so the customer has a record of items and condition. Working conditions and physical effort, to be performed with or without reasonable accommodations: • Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. • Must be able to follow basic safety precautions. • Work involves being a guest in customers’ homes, being polite, and respectful of family members and personal possessions.
