Singer looking for male guitarist accompanist for duo

Hi there! I'm a singer around the Boston area looking to go pro, first as a duo. I'm looking for someone, preferably male for harmonies. You should have a decent level of confidence about your playing abilities. I'm really hoping for someone who at least wants to harmonize, or learn how to. If you want to do some lead vocals, even better. I don't have much performance experience, but my friend who has her own duo and wedding band, has gotten me up to sing at her gigs--so there will be a bit of a learning curve. My goal would be to gig 3 to 4 times a month, to start, and I'm aiming for the fall to start performing. If I find someone and we gel and seems like we can start sooner, that's fine too. I don't yet have my own sound system, but do have my own quality mics and other gear needed. I'll be getting the sound system in the next few months.
