I love soft and breezy music but I have a sort of melodramatic baby Roy Orbison type voice. Would love to find like minded individuals that enjoy gentle, dreamy music but with a literary/gonzo twist or not! I want to get better about writing a dang straight ahead love song without always being meta and deconstructionist. Influences: TOPS, Tennis, Pages, Brill Building pop, Earth, Wind & Fire, Destroyer, Lamp, city pop (Takanaka, Momoto Kikuchi, Sugar Babe, Taeko Onuki, Tatsu Yamashita ), sophisti-pop, basically anything that conjures the beach and long highways at night.
