Galactic Panther Art Gallery presents PANTHER PARTIES, A series of artist-led workshops that will be full of fun and creative art classes! Please join us at Galactic Panther for a Party you wont want to miss!! Each Panther Party will introduce the community to different types of Art and a variety of materials with highly skilled teachers. Activities will include Still life Painting and drawing, using Acrylic paints, oil pastels and Charcoal. Linoleum Print making, Air dry clay sculpting and much more. All materials will be supplied with some light music as well as refreshments provided by ESP tea & coffee, where you will have a variety of tea to choose from. Our first Party will be on Thursday May 12th from 12:30pm -2:30pm, where Artist Samantha Van Heest will teach participants how to still life paint using Acrylic Paint on canvas. We will cover observational sketching, painting techniques, mixing colors, brush usage, and layering paints. Please arrive at least 15 mins ahead to secure a seat as they will be limited. If you can't make the first party Guess what?! We have a another one same day May 12th from 6pm-8pm so don't worry. Artist Vanessa Terrell will introduce a second class of still life painting using acrylic paints. Participants will explore various aspects of acrylic painting including brush work, color theory, detailing, and painting composition. The fun isn't over yet!! Join us on Sunday May 15th from 12:30pm-2:30pm, for Still life Drawing with Charcoal by Artist Samantha Van Heest. In this Party she will cover observational sketching, utilizing various types of charcoal, creating light and shadow, and making your own creative mark. But wait there is more!! If you can't make the early class join us on Sunday May 15th from 4pm-6pm. Artist Vanessa Terrell will introduce the art of Still life drawing with Charcoal. This session will explorer the basics of drawing with attention to line, form, value, light and perspective. These are events you wont want to miss, come to one or come to all. All you need to bring is yourself and get ready for a really great time full of fun, energy, tea and most of all ART!! Art is love, Art is soothing, but Art can also be a Panther party!!
