Donovan Rypkema (PlaceEconomics) presents their study's results of heritage trades workforce needs and opportunities in the NKY region. This invitation is for those who are following Covington’s development of the Covington Academy of Heritage Trades. The City of Covington is excited to welcome Donovan Rypkema (PlaceEconomics), author of The Economics of Historic Preservation, to present their study of heritage trades workforce needs and opportunities across Covington, Northern Kentucky, and Cincinnati. Please join us for a presentation on Tuesday, May 17th at 4:00 at the Kentucky Career Center (1324 Madison Avenue, Covington KY 41011). Doors open at 3:30 and parking is available in the lot next to the front door. Facemasks are optional: this venue does not require attendees to wear masks or provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19.
