Enhance your intuition, receive clarity, boost your energy & creativity with a master cleanse & mind/body/spirit reset with Kambô. For centuries, healers in the Amazon have understood and partnered with this sacred frog medicine for healing, purification, stamina, strength and clarity. Researchers believe that Kambô will open up a new world of treatments and hope for people with: chronic pain, chronic fatigue, fertility issues, Lyme Disease, autoimmune disorders, addiction, depression and anxiety, PTSD, cancer, adrenal fatigue, arthritis, HIV, herpes, hepatitis, Epstein Barr, mold toxicity, Parkinson's, candida overgrowth, intestinal parasites, leaky gut and much more. Suggested exchange for this ceremony is $111. (Scholarships available if money is an issue). MORE INFO ABOUT KAMBO: Kambô comes from the secretion from the “Giant Waxy Green Monkey Tree Frog’ (Phyllomedusa Bicolor) which lives in the upper areas of the Amazon rainforest. It is one of the strongest natural anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, antimicrobial and anesthetic substances found in the world and one of the strongest, natural ways to strengthen the immune system. For a more detailed description of the healing powers of Kambô, Hape, and Sananga click here! There will be an informational talk on May 12th from 5:30-6:30PM at the Portal Community Center and livestreamed through this zoom link. This talk is not mandatory for paricipation, but is a good opportunity to learn more about the medicine and ask any questions you may have. If you are unable to attend and would like to connect further about kambô, please reach out to Sara (contact info below). REGISTRATION: Enrollment is limited and on a first come, first serve basis. Upon enrollment in eventbrite, please ensure you have read all of the information on this invite thoroughly and scheduled a short check-in with Sara at least 3-5 days prior to our ceremony. You can schedule by emailing [email protected] or texting (510) 424- 2561. Your space is reserved once you have made your payment (venmo: @sara-morrill or paypal:. [email protected]) The group will be kept intentionally small. Therefore, I cannot refund cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance. However, your offering can be credited toward a future ceremony or 1-on-1 work. Please read through the following preparation guidelines closely: For 72 hours prior to the ceremony, please abstain from alcohol and recreational drugs. For 10 hours before the ceremony please abstain from food. This is very important! You may drink tea or water the morning of the ceremony, but please no food or stimulants, such as coffee. For 3 hours prior to the ceremony, please abstain from drinking water or liquid of any kind. Knowing kambô is referenced as a ‘cleanse’, please do not do any self-administered water detox, colonic, enemas etc for at least 5 days before or after scheduled Ceremony. This includes hot yoga or strenuous physical activity or exertion, where there is an extreme amount of sweating. A kambô cleanse is suitable for those whose overall health is good. However this is powerful medicine, and a kambô cleanse can be an intense physical experience. Please notify me of any and all prescriptions being taken. There are some health conditions which contraindicate the use of kambô. Some of these include: • pregnancy or breastfeeding • serious heart conditions • extremely low blood pressure controlled by medication • have had a stroke or brain hemorrhage • have had aneurisms or blood clots • are taking immune-suppressants for organ transplants • are undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy • have current and severe epilepsy • serious mental health issues • and some other health conditions This is not an exhaustive list. If you have one of these conditions, or any other serious physical or mental health issue, please contact me immediately so that we can make sure that kambô is safe for you. Please bring: a blanket, pillow, yoga mat, and warm clothes, as some people experience cold spells during ceremony. It is also a good idea to bring a change of clothes, just in case it is needed. Please also bring: At least 1L container (measured) of water with you each day, which you will drink just prior to receiving your Kambô (not before instructed to do so). Be prepared to spend at least 3-4 hours each day receiving and processing Kambô. It takes time to recover your strength and to integrate your experience. Give yourself the gift of time. Be prepared to be in silence, switch off your phone and to respect the ceremonial space created for the Kambô. Consider setting an intention for the ceremony, and focusing on it while receiving your Kambô. If you don’t have a specific intention that’s completely okay too. I look forward to being with you in ceremony!
