Learn More About How You Can Help Give a Local Child or Teen a Better Future by Becoming a Foster Parent Do you know that children and teens in your neighborhood need you, right now? Children in the Inland Empire come into the foster system due to abuse and neglect. If you would like to make a significant, enduring, positive change in your community and in a child’s life, consider becoming a foster parent with Trinity Youth Services. Trinity Youth Services, a nationally accredited Foster Care and Adoptions Agency operating in the Inland Empire and throughout Southern California, works to ensure that trauma-affected children who have been removed from their homes are placed with loving, supportive adults. Together, Trinity families and highly qualified staff do whatever it takes to help children heal and thrive. Since 1966, Trinity has helped over 65,000 children and families create better futures. The agency offers a renowned Foster-to-Adopt program that garners overwhelmingly positive testimonials from parents like Resource Father, Hector Ramirez. “We love our experience with Trinity. They are great people. They work with us. If we have any questions, they are there to answer them. It’s been perfect. Our social worker has been great. Just a good experience.” Trinity’s well trained, Master’s-level staff echo the positive impact of the program, “Trinity actually cares about the children and the families that they help, and what’s going on in their lives. It’s not about the numbers or the money,” says Treatment Foster Care Social Worker, Tiffany Jones. If you don’t have the time to become a full-time Resource (Foster) Parent, Trinity offers many rewarding options to give back and make a difference in the life of a child, including mentoring or becoming a respite (short-term) caregiver. You can also contribute time, goods or services to the Children’s Foundation of America (CFA), Trinity’s fundraising partner. CFA provides support to over 2,800 children each year and provides more than 3,300 holiday gifts to displaced and disadvantaged youth. Volunteer to assist with birthday and holiday parties, fundraising activities and events by visiting https://childrensfoundationofamerica.org/get-involved/volunteer/ . You can also make a monetary donation. 93% of funds raised by the Children’s Foundation directly benefit local children. Visit this link to make a donation: https://childrensfoundationofamerica.org/donate/ Any help you give can positively impact and change the course of a child’s life, as well as the quality of the community. Imagine the benefits of helping a child or teen make positive choices that will help decrease crime, incarceration, drug use, or gang activity. You can Be the Difference in a child’s life.
