Please join us as we remember our fallen military heroes at Ting Pavilion on Charlottesville's Downtown Mall during Memorial Day 2022. This is non-political, family friendly event, and limited seating will be available. Retired Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel James Diehl will be our guest speaker, and valued members from almost 30 different military and veteran organizations will be present, many of whom will be laying wreaths in memory of our fallen military heroes. The Marching Knights from Charlottesville High School Band will be performing several musical arrangements during the ceremony, and there will be a bagpiper for all of you lovers of Scottish traditions. At 1pm, all veterans and their families are invited to join us for lunch and fellowship at the John C. Cullen VFW Post 1827, located on 1170 River Rd, Charlottesville, VA 2290. A special word of gratitude is given to the management of Ting Pavilion for allowing the VFW to host this event at their venue. We are also grateful for all the support that the City of Charlottesville and their dedicated first responders have provided us to make this event a success.
