A delicious Take-Out benefit dinner on Saturday, June 4th. We are pleased to be able to offer a delicious Pork Loin Take-Out dinner on Saturday, June 4th. Proceeds of the dinner will go to benefit the Ukrainian Refugee Family we have been helping since they fled the Ukraine back in March. Menu: Roast Pork Loin OR Vegetarian Portabello Steak Served with: Wild Rice and Grains Medley Green Beans Ukrainian Dessert Although this will not be a sit-down meal, the mother of the refugee family we are supporting will be offering a presentation in our church sanctuary at 5:30pm about the current situation in Ukraine and her first-hand knowledge of efforts to create sustainable democracy in a country devastated by Soviet and now Russian aggression. Tickets for this take-out benefit dinner cost $35.00. You get a delicious home cooked meal and you make a donation to help a local Ukrainian refugee family. All proceeds of the dinner will support Vitalia and her two daughters, Evelina and Adelina, with their housing, transportation, and other needs. When buying your tickets, please indicate in the memo area which entree choice you prefer, the pork loin or the vegetarian portabello steak option. To keep people safe in this era of Covid-19, our church requires masks and we practice social distancing at all worship services and events held in our church buildings.
