Head coach Dawn Thornton and the UAPB Women’s Basketball program will host the UAPB WBB Elite Camp Wednesday & Thursday, June 15th- 16th at Head coach Dawn Thornton and the UAPB Women’s Basketball program will host the UAPB WBB Elite Camp Wednesday & Thursday, June 15th- 16th at the H.O Clemmons Arena on the campus of UAPB from 9 A.M. till 5 P.M. The purpose of the Elite Camp is to teach the fundamentals of basketball - dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, defense, and team play - while emphasizing the importance of hard work, a positive attitude, and sportsmanship. We want our campers to have a GREAT time while also becoming better players and better people during their time with us. The Elite Camp is open to any player that wants to improve their shooting and ball handling fundamentals. Players will be taught the fundamentals of shooting. Campers will be taught ball handling development drills and participate in ball handling competitions. Each player will receive individual instruction and attention from the UAPB Women’s Basketball staff, camp instructors and current Women’s Basketball players. Player will work on ball handling, shooting, offensive moves, and offensive footwork. This is for High School players entering 9th-12th and Sophomore Junior College Players. The cost of the camp is $90 per session. Campers will receive Lunch and a T-Shirt.
