Celebrated each year during June, Men’s Health Month brings awareness to the health issues all men face. The prostate undergoes many changes during the course of a man’s life and generally remains stable until men reach their mid-40s. It is important to know that most changes are not cancer but should be screened and monitored by your doctor. Radiation oncologist Dan Fried, MD will speak about prostate health, explain the process of discovering and diagnosing prostate cancer and share the latest treatment options available at Gibbs Cancer Center and Research Institute. All men who wear blue in support of Men's Health Month will be entered into a prize drawing. About the speaker: Dr. Fried received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He also completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Fried is board certified in radiation oncology. Location details: This event will take place in conference room A inside Gibbs Cancer Center - Pelham. Parking is at the rear of the building.
