Description
ST. CHARLES, IL — Sen. Don DeWitte, R-St. Charles, is partnering with the Illinois Treasurer's Office to host an unclaimed property day at the St. Charles Public Library on May 25.
The event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. at the library, 1 S. 6th Avenue, St. Charles, according to a news release. Those attending can meet with a counselor from the treasurer's office to learn if any unclaimed items belong to them.
During the unclaimed property day, Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs will be stopping by to greet visitors.
"One in four people who search the Treasurer's Office ICash database discover property or cash they can claim," DeWitte said. "The ICash counselors at this event can assist with a search and help people file claims."
