LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
Hospital theft
A person at the La Grange hospital, 5101 Willow Springs Road, told police Thursday that someone took the person's credit card and about $180 in cash. It occurred between the early morning of May 6 and the afternoon of May 7. The person was notified of several unauthorized purchases made on the credit card. No financial loss was reported. Damage
The interior breezeway door to a house appeared damaged Monday in the 900 block of South Madison Avenue. Nothing appeared to be missing. Graffiti was spray-painted on a fence in the 800 block of West Arlington Avenue. The report was filed Tuesday. Identity theft
A resident in the 10 block of North Drexel Avenue told police Monday that someone attempted to open a bank account in the resident's name. The account was not opened. No financial loss was reported. A resident in the 800 block of Eighth Avenue told police Tuesday that the resident received a collections letter related to a cellphone account that was fraudulently opened in the resident's name in December. Patricia Cisneros, 48, of Countryside, was cited about 8 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of La Grange Road on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and people charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
