EVERGREEN PARK — Evergreen Park residents are feeling the squeeze at the pump with gas prices at a record high in Illinois. The average price of gas in Illinois was at about $4.79 per gallon Thursday, according to AAA. That's up 25 cents from a week ago.
In Cook County, the average price for a gallon of gas was around 25 cents over the state average on Thursday at about $5.05 per gallon.
