ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man is accused of damaging a co-worker's car at a local business, Elmhurst police said. Michael Hayford, 46, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of criminal damage to property. He was released on bond. Security footage revealed Hayford damaged another employee's car about noon Tuesday in the parking lot at Chicago Metropolitan Fire Prevention, 820 N. Addison Ave., police said. Hayford admitted to causing the damage, police said.
