SOUTH CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Police are investigating a serious crash outside of American Plaza Thursday evening between a car and motorcycle. According to police, a car was turning left into American Plaza when a motorcycle traveling south on Chicago Road struck the vehicle. Police had not confirmed if the crash ended in a fatality as of Thursday night. The South Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team was on the scene shortly after the crash at 7 p.m. and remained on Chicago Road investigating as of 9 p.m. Thursday.
