Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati: Rumpke has experienced more than 60 fire incidents in facilities and trucks due to batteries and other flammable items put in trash and recycling containers. This week alone Rumpke's Cincinnati Recycling facility had nine small fires caused by batteries. Safeguards inside the plant detected the fires preventing major damage. (WLWT Cincinnati)A 14-year-old boy was arrested for firing shots in Over-the-Rhine near 13th and Vine streets on Apr. 27. The teen is facing one charge of discharging a firearm on or near a public road or highway. Surveillance video footage captured a male suspect firing a gun and running from the scene. (FOX19)Local band Safe Passage will open for The Who this Sunday, May 15 at TQL Stadium. Forty years ago Mike Simkin, drummer of the band, and lead singer, Walt Medlock, were both in the crowd at the last Who concert in Cincinnati where 11 people were killed. Both band members were friends with three other Finneytown High School students who were killed in the tragedy.
