LOWER MANHATTAN, NY — Trains in Lower Manhattan have resumed normal service after a person was struck by a 6 train at Canal Street, according to the MTA. Delays are expected on the 4, 5, and 6 trains in both directions as the three subway lines get back on schedule, said the MTA. The MTA first sent out an alert about someone getting struck by a downtown 6 train at Canal Street around 12:30 p.m. We have early reports that someone was struck by a downtown 6 train at Canal St. We will share service changes as we have them but please expect delays in 4, 5, and 6 service in both directions. DM us for help planning your trip if you are traveling on these lines. pic.twitter.com/hRTK1S3Gce— NYCT Subway. Wear a Mask. (@NYCTSubway) October 23, 2020
