WEST VILLAGE, NY — More than six months into the new coronavirus pandemic, colleges in New York City are struggling to resume in-person classes, and in some cases, reverting to exclusively online courses. New York University (NYU) is one of those schools that has laid out a plan for the fall term, welcoming students back to the West Village and Greenwich Village campus locations, and implementing various safety measures to maintain healthy standards. However, the renowned Manhattan school might want to look away from its most recent ranking in Money magazine's "The Best Colleges in America, Ranked By Value." For the study, Money magazine weighed more than 20,000 data points to find schools that best combine quality and affordability. NYU ranked outside of the top 40 in the state and 281st in the more than 700 schools included in the study.
