Description

So I have an issue and I need help. Long story short- my friends Grandpa had a pit bull. He passed away and my friend was taking care of him. Friend is in prison. Grandma is very old and uses a walker. Grandma cannot care for this dog. He's on a list to go to the shelter, but he's #21 I finally went to assess the situation yesterday... it's bad. This dog is destroying the house due to separation anxiety. He's very skinny. He was a love when I met him, fed and watered him, and he was calm and fine with something to chew. But he definitely is not trained. He is wiley. He jumps, etc etc This woman cannot handle him. He's a pit bull. He's high energy. He needs training. He needs a place where he can be taken care of. I'm worried about Grandma because of what's happening to her house and also the dog because of his condition. I cannot get this house in order with this dog here and she needs help. He also needs help. It's a mess. I won't be able to make any sort of dent in this with him around. He needs to go. Does anyone know of a place that rehabs pittys? Or someone who can take him and help? I am sure he will be good in good care. But he is unhealthy and making the house unhealthy. Friends grandma wants to help but she just isn't able bodied enough and is pretty much chained to her home right now. Not sure on vaccine status. Not neutered. Skinny!!! But lots of energy. Needs a nail trim. Chews from separation anxiety. Food aggression. Free to good home/ shelter/ rehab Text. Thank you!
