Maintenance worker needed to perform building repairs and general building maintenance, to include general lawn and landscape duties as may be assigned from time to time. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Our portfolio consists of commercial properties so experience in this area of maintenance is preferred but not required. Responsibilities • Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, patching and light painting of walls, repair leaking sinks or toilets, light construction prep work. • Check outlets, breakers, electrical wiring to identify issues – light electrical troubleshooting. • Install appliances and equipment • Landscape upkeep by mowing lawn, removing dead shrubs and weeds, collecting trash, snow removal • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation) • Check functionality of building equipment • Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as directed • Collaborate with workers and other professionals during Tenant Improvements • Apply pesticides to remove harmful insects such as mosquitos, wasps, and ticks. • Other tasks as may be assigned by maintenance manager or main office personnel.
