Greco and Sons of Colorado, a food distribution company located in Aurora, CO., is searching for Warehouse Order Selectors who are available to work Sunday through Friday in the evenings as scheduled below: Sunday Start 3pm (9 -10 hour shift), Monday - Friday 4pm (9-10 hour shifts) - Overtime Available!! As an Order Selector, you will be required to select the correct products from racks and palletize them in a safe and efficient manner. You must be able to accurately record, inspect receipts to ensure customer orders are correct and accurate. This role requires you to work in a warehouse environment ranging in temperatures with some areas as low as -5 degrees. Responsibilities: Pick up proper selecting documents prior to order selection process Manually operates a hand-held scanning device Match product description with label description Build pallet according to customer guidelines Maintain production standards, while minimizing errors Transport, via stand-up electric pallet jack, the completed orders to appropriate staging area Return completed selecting documents to proper collection site per shipping department specifications Report all damages product to immediate supervisor Perform general warehouse cleaning duties Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills: Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management. Ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed. Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision. Ability to read, write and count in order to correctly fill and receive orders and conduct accurate inventory. Ability to repeatedly lift and/or push or pull/reach above shoulder height heavy objects weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds Electric Pallet Jack, Fork Lift and/or Reach Machine experience is preferred.
