Warehouse Order Picker - Beverage Distributor

We are a locally owned craft beverage distributor located in Portland, OR. We represent some of the most distinguished breweries in the industry. We are seeking a qualified individual to join our warehouse team. Primary Responsibilities: * Order picking * Clean/stock warehouse as time permits * Keep work area organized and clean The Ideal Candidate Must: * Be 18 or over and able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively * Be friendly and professional when working with coworkers and customers * Adhere to and follow all company policies, procedures and governmental regulations * Must be flexible with hours and available for overtime when needed * Be responsible, organized and punctual * Be very detail oriented with daily paperwork * Beer/beverage industry knowledge is very helpful * Be flexible with over time * Be able to follow directions and carry out tasks assigned by supervisors Physical Requirements: * Use power/manual pallet jack and hand truck (we will train) * Lift/carry 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 160 lbs. * Push/pull 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 160 lbs. * Bend/stoop/crouch/squat * Use arms/wrists/hands/grasp * Get into and out of delivery truck if necessary * Work indoors and outdoors - various temperatures Experience: * Distribution/warehouse experience (preferred, but not required - we will train) * Forklift experience (preferred, but not required - we will train and certify) Our Benefits Include: Medical, Vision and Dental insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays 401(k) Plan Employee Discounts Steel Toe Footwear Reimbursement Shift: Monday - Thursday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Job Type: Full-time Starting Wage: DOE Please send resumes by replying to job posting, no cover letter required.
