Job description Bridges 2 Safety is looking for a talented facilitator to join our team. This individual is proactive, enjoys helping others and is calm under pressure. If you enjoy working in multiple locations and you are an effective communicator who thrives working with individuals who are struggling, this maybe the position for you! Our team members work independently a lot of the time and rely on communication via our CRM. Our work is critical to the success of our clients, so it is important to be emotionally intelligent and to be present when facilitating our groups. It is of the upmost importance that what occurs in group is recorded and progress notes are done in a timely manner, so our outside agencies have accurate information (via our CRM.) Bridges 2 Safety’s mission is to ensure that everyone has a chance to thrive by making sure no one falls through the cracks. Duties & Responsibilities Facilitation • Facilitate treatment group using existing curriculum • Manage attendance, payment and progress notes for each session • Manages client management system • Communicates with staff and outside agencies needed information • Models good communication and professionalism to other staff and clients Managing CRM • Input data from group sessions-Check in participants, collect payment • Communicate with other staff members & outside agencies • Complete monthly progress notes Team Work • Attend staff meetings • Complete special projects when needed Training • Complete minimum required qualification training within two years of employment • Complete 32 hours continued education each year following qualification Qualifications Minimum • Formal education in helping profession (ie social sciences, forensics, psychology, criminal justice, social work, education, etc.) • Computer proficient • Clear of criminal background (including restraining orders & child support violations) • Reliable transportation • Essential Personal Characteristics • Ethical - high integrity • Calm under pressure • Enjoys people • Charismatic • Proactive • Thrives working independently and with a team • Wants to make a positive difference in the world • Easily adaptable to new environments Preferred • Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in a helping profession • Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural in English and Spanish Strongly Preferred • Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy • Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing Techniques • Knowledge of Domestic Violence Dynamics To apply: Send your cover letter and resume In your cover letter, please indicate which locations you are able to work at: Bend, Redmond, La Pine. Job Type: Part-time (potential to go full time) Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Group sessions are being held online (however will be returning to in person in the fall & expected to work in the office); in person appointments are conducted with social distancing practices in place.
