Description
The ideal fit would be a guy with a snowplow, a hunter or a snowmobiler.
It's a small company that keeps busy (20 - 30 hours a week) on average,
between May and September. October and November are still fairly busy.
December and April are pretty hit or miss. Generally it's pretty clean
work except sweat.
We specialize in small moves and deliveries that are mainly local. We
take on a few bigger moves a month and are overnight very occasionally.
The pay is higher than any mover. $20+ for a passenger, $25+ for a
driver. We also get tipped very well. The schedule varies completely,
but we don't get a lot of surprises within 48 hours. Sometimes we go
into high end homes or handle brand new furniture.
Fairly clean cut and insurable to drive(near perfect record, 25+). Show
up on time and respond to scheduling calls and texts. Definately room
for advancement. Be ready for some heavy lifting and something a little
different most days. You have to drive, at least have a car and live
within 15 - 20 minutes from Traverse City Airport.
This fall we plan to go into boat shrink wrapping and moving to fill out
our available hours and it may even be busier after labor day til early
November - a pickup would be great for that(and pay better). The same
would be true for the spring months before Memorial Day.
Please call 8am-7pm. Texting is fine to set up a call. This ad will be
taken down when the position is filled. The interview will be a small
job in the next week or so, starting at or before the end of the month.
Memorial Day and the Sunday before are off. Don't call if you can't at
least last through the summer. Thanks!
