Whether you’re a night owl or early bird, our Swing Shift Machinists take pride making the perfect pieces and parts, whether plastic or steel, to each JST design. Utilizing multiple machines and multiple CNC programs are an integral part of JST's team. As a Machinist at JST, you'll be successful it: • Ability to set up and operate CNC Machines independently as well as using machine tool setup sheets. • Accurately interpret engineering drawings and determine machining methods to meet required part tolerances, fit, and finish. • Knowledge of G-code, speeds and feed rates appropriate for different materials. • Cooperate with CNC Programmers on machine tool set-up, trouble-shooting and improving programs to maintain machine productivity. • Competently use all precision measuring instruments and contribute to JST’s quality program by following quality procedures. • Contribute to team effort by achieving results. Work cooperatively with team members and assist engineering with design for manufacturability. Communicate design constraints and work within the team to achieve solutions. AVAILABLE SHIFTS: • Day Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00pm-4:30am (8 & 10 shift available) • Swing Shift: Monday – Friday 3:30pm-12:00am (Includes additional shift differential rate) • *Opening Soon* Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday, 10-12 hour shifts, Hours TBD
