Looking for an older drummer—in your 40s or 50s, ideally—for an alternative country/rock inspired project. We are two guitar players and a bass player working on building a gigging band around primarily originals with a cover here and there. Influences: Jason and the Scorchers, Drive-by Truckers, Lucero, Turnpike Troubadours, Waylon, Old 97s, Blackberry Smoke… We’re very experienced musicians with a lot of time in successful bands over the years. We have a lot of originals, and a commitment to getting something off the ground. We recognize that a successful band requires time, work, and the ability to lay egos aside. We’re down to earth dependable guys willing to put in the effort, so we expect the same from band mates. Ideally you’ve got the skill and experience to know when to rock, how to play tastefully, and how to lend your creative ear to the songwriting process. Just as importantly, you’ve got to be able to commit to a designated once a week practice session. If you’re interested or have questions, shoot me an email.
